Memorial

There is, within the hollows of my heart,

Some little spaces left unscarred,

Where peace of mind still echoing to me calls,

And rest is found among the sighs and tears.

I cannot, no I will not, now forget,

Bright days of sunlight, sinuous evening talk,

Nor should I for you were to me a spark,

Within the dark of Erebus where I lived.
